ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- It might be the coolest science class out there. FMA Live came to West Genesee Middle School Monday, using hip hop to teach students about math, science, and engineering.

The show incorporates Sir Isaac Newton's three laws of motion, and even lets the students act them out on a giant Velcro board. While it provided plenty of entertainment for the students, sponsors hope it also made a lasting impact.

"Honeywell's a tech company right, and we want to have students get excited about science, math, engineering, and pursue careers in technology. And so that's what we're doing we're sponsoring this in partnership with NASA to really energize students to help them have an interest in pursuing a science career," said John McAuliffe, Honeywell Syracuse Program Director.

At the show, they also recognized a West Genesee teacher who won a scholarship to go to space academy in Huntsville, Alabama.
