ITHACA, NY-- The Binghamton women played the Big Red lacrosse team even in the second half, but were doomed by a six goal half time deficit in their 17-11 defeat to Cornell on Tuesday night in Ithaca. The Bearcats trailed by just two goals with less than twelve minutes to play in the first half. But a 5-1 run gave the Big Red a 10-4 half time lead that they held onto for the win. Cornell was led by Lindsay Toppe who had six goals. Binghamton was led by Katherin Hunsberger and Kristen Stone who each tallied three goals.
